一名32岁女性第一次接受A型肉毒毒素治疗：额部注射10U肉毒毒素，眉间注射20U。据患者本人报告无皮肤病史并且生活方式积极。她第一次注意到发白是在一次团体活动中，一个朋友问她额头上是不是长了荨麻疹。在注射后5个月内的团体活动中，她都持续留意到皮肤发白。每次的持续时间为30分钟到2小时。皮肤发白除稍令人窘迫外，未伴随其他症状。鉴于她积极的生活方式和频繁出现的皮肤发白，建议该患者停止肉毒毒素治疗。
